I passed in South Yardley first time of trying, as I’m new to the Birmingham area, as a result of my lessons with Jamshad. Very knowledgable of the area, routes and nuances of the roads and junctions for this test area. Very encouraging, easy to have a conversation with and all round great guy. Highly recommend to anyone looking to pass their test in the south Yardley area.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience – Would Not Recommend - Fraudulent

My experience with this company ( Jamshad Ahmed) was extremely disappointing, he took 70£ for 2 hours but in the advertisement it says 60£. Throughout the lessons, the instructor was frequently on phone calls, which I found unprofessional and distracting. His communication and manner of speaking were also unacceptable and lacked basic professionalism.

I also had serious concerns about the condition of the vehicle. The car failed due to tyre tread issues, raising questions about whether it was roadworthy and suitable for driving lessons. Vehicle safety should never be compromised, especially when teaching learners.

On top of this, the instructor took smoking breaks between sessions, which disrupted the lessons and made the overall experience even more frustrating.

my test was on 8 sept 2026, the car was found unworthy of roads by DVLA/DVSA examiner and the test was cancelled which raised safety concerns also, as i was driving the an illegal car from last 4 days.

Following these issues, I was offered either a reimbursement or a retest. However, after this offer was made, my attempts to resolve the matter were ignored. Offering a solution and then failing to follow through is unacceptable and demonstrates extremely poor customer service.

Given the circumstances, I believe the instructor’s conduct and the vehicle safety concerns warrant further investigation. I would encourage anyone who has experienced similar issues to report them to the DVSA, the relevant authority for approved driving instructors, so that the matter can be properly investigated and appropriate action considered.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service, the lack of professionalism and the failure to resolve my complaint. I would advise prospective learners to research their options carefully before booking with this company. Learners deserve a safe vehicle, a professional instructor and honest, reliable customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have nothing but good words for JJ, after ages of instructors who don't turn me away and deal with me poorly, JJ was the best thing ever. He's concise, he's clinical, he can take a joke and have banter, and gets the job done. I cant stress about how good he is, not just as an instructor but just as a bloke. Not many of us want to be there doing driving lessons, it can get tiring and tedious but he makes it fun and he's really good at it. Would recommend JJ for anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For experienced drivers, Jamshed is excellent at identifying areas that need improvement and providing practical tips and techniques to correct them. The guidance is focused not just on passing the test, but on developing safe, confident driving habits for the long term. The constructive feedback and encouragement also give you a real confidence boost just before taking the test. Highly recommended!
